Wine and Dine at Calgary’s Favorite Lake House This April 2, 2025

Experience an enchanting soiree at The Lake House in Calgary on April 2, 2025. Hosted by award-winning sommelier Brad Royal, it will be an unforgettable culinary journey where every sip and bite transports you to the sunny vineyards of France. 

At the Vin and Vue Soiree, you get one welcome pour upon arrival to open the palate and prepare you for the four-course dinner. 

First Course:

  • Camembert and Jambon Arancini
  • Courgette, Pea, and Radish Fricassee
  • Piperade Sauce

Wine: Pierre Huet Cidre Pays d’Auge

Second Course:

  • Roasted Garlic Sourdough with Chilli, Lemon Vinaigrette
  • Salt Cod Brandade Mousse
  • Poached Langoustine with Tomato, Artichoke, and Black Olive Puree

Wine: 2022 Sangourd-Guyot Pouilly-Fuisse

Main Course:

  • Beef tenderloin
  • Elk Bourguignon
  • Potato Dumplings

Wine: 2019 Chateau Puygueraud

Dessert:

  • Mille-Feuille
  • Puff Pastries, Calvados Roasted Strawberries, Mascarpone Cream, Pistachio White Chocolate Sauce

Aside from the food and wine, we love the ambiance at The Lake House, especially at night. The soiree takes place from 6 PM to 9 PM, so the place will be lit up in a warm, magical glow, which makes the experience unforgettable.
