Western Canada’s Biggest Pop Culture Event Is Coming to Calgary in April 2025
Anticipation is building ahead of Calgary Expo 2025, Western Canada’s largest annual pop culture event. From April 24 to 27, they planned a jam-packed weekend for anime, comic, and gaming fans.
Just like every year, we look forward to the meet-and-greets with actors who’ve portrayed our favorite fictional characters. Carrie Fisher and Ewan McGregor are just a few of the iconic stars we’ve seen at the event.
Expect the celebrity lineup to be just as exciting this year. Some of the actors you’ll see throughout the Expo are Nicholas Hoult, John Boyega, Michael J. Fox, David Boreanaz, Dante Basco, and more.

Calgary Expo takes place at the BMO Centre in Stampede Park from April 24 to 27. You can buy either tickets covering all four days or single-day passes if you only want to attend specific events.
For children ages 6-12, tickets cost only $12, which includes admission for all four days of the Expo.
